Texas Fishing

By Adam Smith

Do you enjoy fishing? Many of us do. I you want to find a great spot for fishing, you must visit the fishing lake Ray Hubbard. If you like striped bass fishing, you will love this lake. You will find good catfish there too. You would be surprised to know how many fishermen come here to fish. By the way, they say that bass fishing is great here.

You might want to bring your whole family to this lake and spend a great day. You can all fish together and enjoy the day. Which fish are you most interested in? Well, I will tell you which fish are most common here. The most numerous fish here are the Largemouth bass, Catfish and Crappie. They all rate very well. Even the quality of the worst one will be at least average/good.

Well, if you enjoy sport fishes, I will inform you that in recent years, two of our sport fishes are getting increasingly abundant. One is blue catfish and the other is striped bass. Every years, there is more vegetation. That is why every year, Largemouth bass is getting more abundant. And if you don't like those, you can always fish for channel catfish and crappie.

Some fish will be found in certain seasons only. Take striped bass for example. You will mostly find them when the weather is not that hot. That means that you will find them active during fall, winter and spring. Lake fish will be found during daytime. That is when they are most active. The best time to go fishing for them is the early in the morning and late in the afternoon. You can find them in shallow water.

Different equipment is used to catch different fish. Crappie fishermen equip themselves with live minnows and jigs. Deep water crank baits and spinner baits are used for active fish. You will have a great time fishing in Ray Hubbard. It is a truly great place for fishing.
